From the airport
Easy Street Rides is our wedding day shuttle driver and a true Steamboat legend. He does private rides to and from Hayden (HDN). Call (970) 846-0256. Landing around the same time as other guests? Team up and book one ride together.
Flying into Denver or want a rental car? Here's a list of options.
Flying in
Our pick: fly into Denver (DEN) and make a road trip of it. It usually has the most flights and the best fares, then it’s a gorgeous 3 to 3.5 hour drive through the mountains and over Rabbit Ears Pass,
Take a day to adjust. Steamboat sits at about 6,700 feet. Spending a night in Denver or arriving a day early helps your body catch up to the altitude.
Short on time? Hayden (HDN) is just 30 minutes from town.

For more flexible price points, we put together a list of Airbnbs we liked! VRBO, NoMadness, and the other hotels in Steamboat are all good options too. Late summer books fast, so grab a place as soon as you know you’re coming.
Camp
If you’re adventurous and on a budget, there are free dispersed campsites up Buffalo Pass, just up the road from Perry-Mansfield. Bring a tent, sleeping bag, and warm layers. Showers you’ll need to get creative haha!
